Still in Awe

Just wanted to let everyone know that mom is still doing WONDERFUL! It feels so good to say that and mean it in a completely different way than we did just a week ago. Some thoughts she has shared with us...
*Today she told me she couldn't believe in was Tuesday already
*I asked her if it was confusing that it is April and she told me "VERY"
*She asked me if I saw the current situation with the polygamists and their children and then asked me where the city was located in Texas
*She asked Chaz if he was packing yet for a trip he is going on this weekend.
*When my dad called her Sunday, she asked him if he got to NOLA OK (he had left earlier that day.)

Again, I am really speechless. I can tell you that if you ask anyone that has spoken with her at any point before last Wednesday and then speaks to her now would probably tell you the change is a 360. Dad didn't want to go so far as to call it a miracle, but truly it is. Medicine has played a part, but the fact that she now has a memory (short and long term), she is talking to us and is the essence of herself is a blessing of medicine and faith. I told you a long time ago that when I walked into her room at Touro I could feel her spirit all around us, I am so glad that it has been set free!

Peace.

Lo,

I can't begin to tell you the joy in my heart to hear your beautiful voice again and to really hear you behind the questions that you ask!

I also can't describe the happiness in my heart that goes with seeing your daughter smile again.

Rob,

You have done an AMAZING job with keeping everyone informed with this blog. I am baffled by your genuine love, commitment and strength that you have given to your mom, dad, brother, husband, children, friends and EVERY stranger that you have encountered along the way. You are a true gift and angel to this world.

Thank you Father Seelos! Thank you God for these many miraculous blessings!

Oh Mrs. Louisa! I am so glad to hear that you are bringing warm feelings of love and recovery to your family! It must feel great for everyone! Hearing that you are ready for LSU games (sorry, the Lady tigers lost) and shopping...well that just exciting! Let me know if you need a partner in crime for wig shopping--- not that i am an expert.

There is no doubt that you have returned to us and yourself through prayer, hope, and hard work by your medical team, your family, and you!! I wish there was a way to send an extra tight hug to you, Mr. Charlie, Brad and robin, and Claire and Chaz. No doubt that your friends here are sending electronic high fives to you!

We miss you so much! We love you...robin bordelon

Well now that Luisa is ready to go shopping, I think that might solve the economy problems and the Dow Jones. It has been down since October 31 when she stopped shopping. Forget McCain, Clinton, and Obama...Luisa can solve the economy downfall by getting back to the stores. They miss her :)

Wonderful news! I can't wait to visit!

Luisa, how wonderful to hear how well you are doing. There is not a day that goes by that someone is not asking about you. Your picture remains up in the NICU for all of us to enjoy. The pictures Robin is posting are beautiful. You may not have been shopping in while, but you still look like a million bucks! Miss you and stay beautiful,
Love,
Nichole
