Hi Friends and Family

This is the longest I have gone without a post on the blog!

Since mom is the furthest she has been from us (distance wise) it is hard to find out a lot of information on a daily basis. All I have to tell you during the week how she sounds from the short phone conversations we have-I wish there was more, for me and you.

Sunday dad brought LuBob to their new house in Houston and they just watched tv and chilled out together. She helped him fold some clothes, she has to wash and fold her own clothes in Galveston. Monday, she sounded tired and kind of down. It was the first time I have really heard her down in the dumps, which is good b/c she has been so indifferent up until this point. So it is kind of good to hear that she is understanding her limitations. Today she was much better, she told me that she just had a bad day yesterday.

We hope that all is well with you and your families.

Hi there, I'm blog surfing tonight and came across yours. What a journey you and your family have been on. I hope things continue to improve for your mom, and that out of all of this, something good results. My heartfelt best wishes to you all for peace, good health and happiness.

I'll be looking forward to reading updates in the future.

Hi Robin,
Thanks for continuing to update your blog. I look forward to each and every entry. Thank your for sharing with all of us. I hope that each day brings more improvements for Ms. Luisa. Perhaps when she's feeling better, we can all have a margarita and some burt reynolds.
Love, Jess

Hi Robin..Luisa has been making progress in "leaps and bounds" the past several months, so this stage of recovery can seem slow and tedious. But as you said, even that Luisa sounded "down", this shows her continued recovery to being her "old self"...Please be sure to tell her her friends at WCH think of her everyday and keep her and all the Rips and the Pips ( I love that) in our prayers !!!
