Well, we were hoping for this week, but at least we have a date set for the replacement surgery. Lu will be having surgery next Tuesday in Houston at Hermann Memorial in the medical area. The rest of the details are still being worked out, more to come on this issue.
Mom is doing well, she seems to be pretty much the same mentally and physically, as far as we can tell. Since she does not initiate (one of her big side effects of the injury) it is really hard to get a feeling from her because she won't just come out and say this is bothering me.
I ask that you keep both she and my dad in your prayers. Dad is a man of unspeakable strength, he is juggling about 30 different things at once and could really use some positive energy sent his way. I am in awe of both of the people who I am proud to call my parents.
