Talked to Luisa today and all is going well. I didn't really share things we talked about and did at Easter so I will on this picture-less Wednesday. We did not take mom out of the hospital this weekend because of the casts on her feet, it would have been too hard to maneuver her around. So,we just hung out in the hospital until the kids wore their welcome out with the other patients. I called her to let her know that I was on my way to see her and give her a manicure and when I got there she busted out laughing at me. I asked her what was so funny and she told me, "that was quick." Their house is only about 15 minutes from TIRR-I was thrilled she remembered I called her. Her memory is funny though, sometimes she retains information (like her doctors name) and others she can't remember visiting with people, it seems as it is really hit or miss. Please continue to keep our LuBob in your hearts and prayers.

Dear Louisa-
Glad to hear that Robin is giving you manicures! I can only imagine that you must have the prettiest new spring color on your nails! I thought you might be interested in knowing that the life work of George Rodrigue is being exhibited at the New orleans Museum of Art. I went to see the work yesterday and of course reminded me of the families i know from Lafayette. Rodrigue captures a wonderful spirit in these cajun figures, something that a cajun outsider might not be able to recognize. I feel lucky, because i recognize that spirit in you! And guess what---that same cajun spirit lives in all of your family and friends, and they love you!
That above blog was posted by Robin Bordelon, not my roommate Bret...not sure how that happened?
