Well, we have all been on this little journey together for three months now. So much has happened, we have been blessed that it is almost all positive. Now if we can just get that short term memory to kick in, we will being taking great strides.
I was talking to mom tonight and I told her that she had been keeping something from us. Of course, she had no idea what I was getting around to, but evidentally she walked on the treadmill the other day for a little over seven minutes. She can be so modest:) Physically and cognitively she is still moving forward.
On the last day of this month, may each of you know how appreciative we are for your support and prayers.

Robin, thanks for your diligence in keeping up the blog updates. All of us at WCH continue to pray for your mom's full recovery. We love all the pictures both recent and past...please tell her we love and miss her!!! Tina
aaawww...there's Gizmo! I was talking about Luisa today when I went to get my haircut. The lady that does my hair wanted an update on her. Then I remembered today was 3 months since the accident. It seems so long ago. I'm so glad she is still getting better every day!
Robin and family,
I am so amazed at your mom's progress over the last 3 months! Not that I'm real familiar with brain injury patients, but she seems to be be moving forward all the time and that's such a blessing. Your entire family has been so patient and loving, which I'm sure is a BIG part of why Mrs. Luisa has come so far - I'm sure she feels the love and support. Continue to put all your trust in God...He has much bigger plans than we could ever imagine :) Your families example of faith, hope, and love has helped me to strenghten my own faith, so thank you.
You all remain in my prayers...and I'm praying for that short term memory to come back!
Love, Ramey
.....and Maw Maw Biddy went to rest on 1/29/06, 5 months after the house flooded.
It is amazing to see a picutre of our old house. We know Biddy is Lou's biggest Cheer Leader in heaven today.
Keep up all your great progress Lou. I am training too so we can run the Crescent City Classic.
See you next week in Houston. Love Nanny
Robin, thanks for the continual updates now that Luisa is in Houston.
I am sure you are all glad that you have taken so many pictures over the years that the rest of us can enjoy.
Prayers from New Orleans to Houston.
