Au Revior Dear Friend

The journey started just three months ago
There have been plenty of lessons learned and poboys eaten (unfortunately)

Mom has been blessed a million times over
The Lord has held her gently in his generous hands.

Our time at University will supply many laughs and stories for years to come
Touro was just the beginning of the recovery process for mom
To all of the medical care attendants, we thank each of you for
saving our wife, mom, lola, sister, aunt and friend.

In our old friends, you have reconnected with our family
in our new, we welcome you to our lives.
You have each shown us the beauty in humanity
Our hearts are filled with joy.

Tomorrow a new
The Lone Star State awaits
BUT
The Crescent City has always been home for mom-it still is.

Robin, You have touched out hearts with your daily, well almost daily, updates. They've made us laugh...and cry.

We are so grateful that Luisa is doing so well. We never know what God has planned for us, but it's our faith and the support of friends and family that gets us through these types of challenges.

I know how happy you are that Lu will be in Texas. We'll continue to pray for her and look forward to more videos.

Luv to all,

Gaynel

Robin,
Glad Lu is going to her new home in Texas. We will certainly miss her here and will stay glued to the blog for your daily updates. Your Mom is so special to Van and I and we will visit as often as we can. Love to you, Brad, the kids and Chaz and Claire. We are only a phone call away. Your love and strength will continue to carry the whole family through this challenge. Can't wait to read the book!
We love you all,
Jan and Van

Luisa, I will miss seeing you. I have seen you more in the last three months than I have probably since I was a little girl and you lived here. I already told Robin I would come to Houston if y'all need me. Road trip!! Good luck in this next phase! I can't wait to see you doing even better :)
Love,
Lauren

Lou, Happy Trail To You! Houston will be terrific. Each step of this journey has delivered laughter and tears, milestones and madness, sports seasons that have come to and end and some just beginning (for those who think American Idol is a Spectator Sport). Through your trials and challenges you have given our family strength, reinforced the importance of the family unit, and directed our focus on the value of prayer. Your journey and determination is a true inspiration and you are truly a Hero and Trooper for all that you have endured. Your children are amazing adults loving and responsible and your husband albeit he has always been TOP GUN in my books adds a new dimension to the words DEDICATION, DEVOTION and EVERLASTING LOVE. The Crescent City will always be OUR home no matter where we choose to make a new beginning. See you soon Love Nanny

Luisa, we hate to have you leave New Orleans. We know that you will be closer to Robin and Chaz, Claire,Brad, and of course, Andrew and Ava.

I have no doubt that you will thrive there and I will continue to check the website every morning as I have been doing.

We still continue to pray for you at Holy Rosary. Good luck, we know you can do it.
