Today mom had her first swallow test and she failed it. Not because she could not swallow but because she did not know what to do with the food when they put it in her mouth. Once she figured it out, she did swallow OK-it will come as all of the other blessing have.
Today mom's first cousin's visited her and she was very alert for them (b/c they were not my dad:)). She saw a picture of Andrew and said "Cute". Great response because that was just looking at him and not a prompted conversation.

It's great to be able to follow your moms progress. Thank you for sharing the information with us. There is not a day that goes by at WCH in which someone is inquiring about Luisa. Many departments throughout the hospital often make a trip to NICU to check up on Luisa. Our prayers will continue as well as the love we share with her.
