Tonight on my nightly call mom was reading a magazine about New Orleans. It is unclear how much she actually understands about what she might be reading, but when she told me she was reading it sure seemed like she was interested in the topic. We talked about how excited we are to see each other this weekend, I am counting down the days. And she talked to Andrew and Ava and laughed at them while they were talking/singing.
I know that I write a lot about my conversations, but this is all I witness while I am not there. Please know that while it is amazing to talk to her, there are moments of confusion mixed in with the conversation, they are getting less and less but are still present.
And I guess with that, it's goodnight.
