This afternoon, Dad, Chaz and I went to visit mom. She was sitting, dressed in an outfit we bough her last week and was alert as we spoke with her. She communicated with us the whole time! Communication was either yes or no, or a smile or the look of sadness. She moved her right arm for the first time since the accident and also managed to laugh a few times when we shared stories with her.
I will tell you that to see my mom and us in the situation we are in, makes me (and I am sure anyone) wonder what God's plans are in all of this-but it seems that a miracle happens in front of our eyes each day. I guess the lesson is not to question what the purpose of all of this is, but to rejoice in each day of her (our) lives.
With Thanks,
R & P

I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own wil, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
John 5:30
He gives us love, he gives us family, joy, hope laughter and sorrow. Each day we are thankful for having each other even from a distance, our strength is in our core to care for and love each other. The rest is in his hands and although in the most difficult times it is human to questions WHY as we don't understand sadness and tragic events but turn to believe that we can carry on and become stronger in faith, love, courage and hope. Each day one day at a time. I love you all so much for being so strong. Nanny
All I can say is that we think about all of you each and every day and we love yall...keep being strong
