First Blog

First, I must say that the love, prayers and support have humbled my dad, Chaz, Claire, Brad and I. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We know that LuBob is going to make it through this-and your friendship is a big part of that.

Today, Monday, Chaz, Claire and I told our mom bye for a few days. I went to see her this morning and spoke with her for a while (her sedation was off so she was moving her left arm to tell me that she heard me). She is pretty much at the same place she has been the last few days, her vitals are normal, she is breathing on her own and the pressure in her head is safe yet on the high side. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we have a long road ahead of us-we are grateful to each and everyone of you.

Robin,

I went up at 10am and your Mom looked great. I had not been there since Friday and there was a BIG difference. She looks like Luisa.

Your Uncle Jerry remarked that she might not be too happy to see her hair growing out grey.

I went back at 5pm and saw even what little swelling she had in her face gone. Her hands had also lost some of there swelling.

She did move her left shoulder and arm when your Dad asked her to.

I have her name on the Cabrini prayer list. I know the Religion teacher over there and called her Friday.

Also, Theresa Lanata's sister works with me and she has contacted your mother's Cabrini pals to let them know she needs prayers.

Today seemed to be a good day.

We have been keeping up with the situation throug Adrienne, and we are happy to hear that there is progress, however slow it may be. I have shared the blog with friends of your/ours that may or may not have heard about the accident and wanted to know how Luisa was doing. We are of course available if you guys need anything, and you will continue to be in our prayers.
