Since the last update, not too much has changed, and we don't really expect it to right now. I mentioned in my last post that the most important thing is to get the cranium pressure stable and it is still going down ever so slightly. All of this may seem like a slow process to us, but when you consider that the brain is just trying to make new connections you can see that it is just going to take time for her to heal on the inside.
For those of you interested, I did speak to the woman who answered her phone the day of the accident. She was just an innocent bystander who acted without thinking and we are forever grateful to her. With all of the negative news and stories out there, it is nice to know that there are still those untold wonderful stories of selflessness and love.

Could she shed any light on how this happened?

The LORD'S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail.//They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.//"The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "Therefore I have hope in Him."//The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, To the person who seeks Him.
He is listening to all the prayers we must beleive in his will. Love Nanny
Robin...thanks for keeping us all up to date on your Mom. Even though we have all been running in different directions lately, your family has always remain steadfast in our minds and hearts. I think your mother response to your voice is such a major postive development and a real indication she is on the way back home. With love and affection, Tim, Melinda, Mikey and Tozie Mahoney

I went to visit Luisa today, and she lifted her left hand about 5 inches above the bed - another good step on her long road to recovery!
